Description: What you'll be doing

Another Source’s client, The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, is recruiting a Talent Acquisition Partner to join their team in Los Altos, California.  

 

This role is hybrid. You will be expected to be on-site for only two days every week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). The other days will be remote / work from home days! Breakfast and lunch are provided on those days in the office. Also, twice a year they will have 4-day work weeks on-site to bring everyone together, which happens for 1 week in April and November.

About the Role:  

At the Packard Foundation our people are our most important resource. We’re looking for a skilled Talent Acquisition Partner to become one of them, and to help us find them. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in recruitment or human resources, with knowledge of screening, interviewing, and hiring practices. The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Foundation’s hiring needs for each position, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations 
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent 
  • Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job postings and announcements 
  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business 

 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years’ experience in recruitment or human resources 
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search 
  • Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems
  • Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
  • Ability to travel as needed
