Salary: The anticipated salary for this role is $93,000 - $133,700 annually depending on experience.
How you will be spending your time:
As the Accounting Manager, you will lead the Treasury and General Accounting operations within the Accounting Office, driving financial strategies that support key campus initiatives and ensuring compliance with fund accounting standards. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will manage cash flow optimization, oversee accounting activities across multiple fund groups, and provide leadership to a team of five accounting professionals. This role is essential in developing financial models, policies, and internal controls that ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decision-making at the executive level.
You will oversee critical functions including capital project funding analysis, tax compliance (UBIT, sales/use tax), audits (NCAA, external), journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end closing. This position requires a forward-thinking leader who can navigate complex accounting operations, foster collaboration across campus departments, and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and financial stewardship.
