Another Source's client, University of Oregon, is recruiting a Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences to join their team in Eugene, Oregon. This is a fully onsite role when not focused on donor visits and external engagement, with an average of approximately one week of travel per month.

About this role:
As the Director of Development for the College of Arts and Science, you will play a key frontline fundraising role advancing philanthropic support for the University of Oregon. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, focusing on gifts in the $100K+ range, and lead all aspects of the donor lifecycle - from identification and qualification to cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. You will partner closely with colleagues across University Advancement and academic units, including the College of Arts and Sciences, to align donor interests with institutional priorities and maximize philanthropic impact.
You will serve as a highly collaborative and externally facing representative of the university, regularly engaging with donors, alumni, and stakeholders. This role requires frequent travel and proactive outreach to build relationships and advance giving conversations.
This position is ideal for a motivated fundraiser who enjoys being in the field, building connections, and executing strategy. You will contribute to broader development planning efforts while personally driving results and helping grow a strong pipeline of future major and leadership gift donors.
