This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with up to two telework days per week following a 90-day onboarding and training period, subject to supervisor approval.

About this role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR or benefits professional who enjoys balancing analytical work with employee support and service. The Benefits Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of benefits operations and ensuring compliance with Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements while helping employees navigate benefits-related questions and processes.
In this role, you will partner across HR, payroll, and technology functions to support reconciliations, payroll file reviews, data accuracy, ACA administration, and employee counseling. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, customer-service orientation, and the ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential information in a collaborative university environment.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $55,000 – $59,000.
