Another Source's client, Global Online Academy, is recruiting a Content Marketing Manager to join their remote team. This opportunity will allow you to work anywhere in the world and is fully remote.

About the role: 

The Marketing Content Manager will work closely with GOA’s Director of Communications in creating marketing content to be used across all GOA communication channels (blog, email, website, and social media). The Manager will help bring the GOA brand, services, and impact to life in a way that engages and resonates with our intended audiences. The successful candidate will have experience with a wide range of marketing/communications activities including graphic design and digital media, and be a proactive self-starter who is comfortable managing projects. The Marketing Content Manager will work across the organization building relationships with GOA’s Student Program, Center for Professional Learning, and Design Lab teams.  

 

What you will do: 

  • Develop, write, and optimize content for all communications channels (Insights blog, social media, website, and email). Collaborate with product teams and the communications team to execute campaigns that raise GOA’s profile and brand recognition.  
  • Manage editorial calendar and accompanying marketing plans and campaigns. 
  • Review content for SEO optimization, using a research and data-driven approach to content requirements. 
  • Manage social media channels and stay up-to-date with best practices.  
  • Assist with updating and optimizing the GOA website. 
  • Find new ways to extend and repurpose existing content. Conduct regular content audits to refresh outdated content, retire assets, and identify gaps and new opportunities. 
  • Update style guides and brand standards to align messaging with GOA audiences throughout their user journey. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of digital content development experience. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English or related field. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for design and strong storytelling ability. Graphic design experience preferred. 
  • Proactive self-starter able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while also working collaboratively with team members. 
  • Experience managing social media channels and writing content for the web. Must demonstrate an interest in staying up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices.  
  • Strong skills in Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, and Slides), Marketing Automation, Google Analytics, and Pardot
